What is Resident Council?

Resident Council is an essential part of living at Welsh Mountain Home. It gives each resident a voice to engage in their quality of life in our personal care facility. It can provide our residents with a purpose and maximize life satisfaction. Each meeting lasts about 30-45 minutes and is held at the end of the month. The meeting is organized by the President of Resident Council and he facilitates the meeting with the residents and staff of Welsh Mountain Home in attendance. If residents miss a meeting, they are able to read the posted meeting minutes on one of the resident bulletin boards. Resident Council is one of the many ways our residents enjoy being active in our community.

Sincerely,
