Every year, I look forward to leaves turning colors. They are especially beautiful here at Welsh Mountain. I also look forward to seeing you at our Annual Fall Benefit Banquet. It’s a special time of sharing the highlights and the heartfelt stories of residents over the past year.

This year, the banquet will be different, but the need to support a resident of Welsh Mountain Home remains the same.

If we were together, I would share the heartwarming story about an extraordinary resident you can help.

George is celebrating 30 years living at Welsh Mountain Home! Everyone who visits Welsh Mountain Home is greeted by George’s bright smile. Always at the front desk, George keeps an eye out on who comes and goes, what cars they drive, and enthusiastically announces the arrival of the mail. It’s hard to think of Welsh Mountain Home without thinking about George!

For just $82.50, you can provide a day of care for a resident at Welsh Mountain Home. A day of care means families don’t have to worry about their loved ones. And like George, residents can have lots of reasons to smile.

While we cannot gather together for the banquet and for sharing stories, I am asking you to give generously to help a resident like George.

Will you help by October 6 – the day we would’ve been together?

You can choose to cover a half a day, a whole day, three days, or a week of care for a resident. Please send your gift to Welsh Mountain Home with “Annual Fall Benefit Banquet” in the memo line or donate securely at WelshMountainHome.org by October 6, the day we should have gathered together for the annual fall banquet and celebrated George’s 30 years.

I hope to see you for a traditional banquet next year!

Blessings,

Mona Frey
