The Landis Communities Communications team has released a new publication – the Summer 2022 FLOURISH magazine. In this issue, the theme is Cultivating Friendship, with a focus on those who have found a home through Landis Communities. For some, home is a physical space, like Rob & Gail who love their new city life at Steeple View Lofts. For others, they have found a ‘home’ in unexpected ways. Jody, for example, found a place to be inspired and to inspire others at Landis Adult Day Services.

New friendships are also often formed through Landis Communities, but as is the case for Movita and Arlene, sometimes childhood friends are reunited (page 4-5)!

As we continue to foster meaningful relationships and strong communities, Landis Communities is striving to serve more people with diverse needs and interests. Landis HCBS Board Member, Willonda McCloud, featured in the Why I Serve column, and members of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) task force are leading this effort. We look forward to continuing to fulfill our mission and welcoming many more people to a place they call home.

In this issue, read about Debra Frey, one of the newest residents at Welsh Mountain Home, and how volunteering at Landis Homes brought her to live at Welsh Mountain Home.
