Welsh Mountain Home, an affiliate of Landis Communities, is pleased to welcome former board chair, Dwight Groff, back to the board. A lifelong resident of Kinzers, PA, Dwight brings a deep-rooted connection to the local community and a rich history of service. With a life spent largely in agriculture, Dwight is no stranger to dedication and hard work. His service as a pastor and active involvement in the local fire department reflect a life shaped by compassion, leadership, and community spirit.

Dwight’s relationship with Welsh Mountain Home began in his youth when, as part of his congregation, he joined in singing with residents four times a year, a tradition that left a lasting impression and sparked a commitment to the mission of Welsh Mountain Home.

His passion for history and desire for service from a faith perspective align well with WMH’s emphasis on community life. Dwight is a strong supporter of Welsh Mountain Home’s vision to enrich the lives of residents and team members alike, and his return to the Board is a continuation of that journey.

Board Chair Lamar Benner is grateful for Dwight’s willingness to rejoin the board, saying, “His past experience with Welsh Mountain will help us grow and provide for the future needs of our residents.  He is deeply committed to supporting the mission of Welsh Mountain Home.”
