Sadie and her son, John, are two of those special residents and they were willing to share a little of their story about how they found Welsh Mountain Home.

Sadie and her late husband had two sons. Sadie and one of her sons, John, lived together in Gordonville, PA, but some of John’s health challenges prompted them to explore other living options with more support. Sadie’s other son, Lloyd, heard about Welsh Mountain Home from a coworker.

Originally, John was on the waiting list but was hesitant to move. With encouragement, Sadie and John decided to move together.

Now, Sadie and John are two of several residents at Welsh Mountain Home who have found an affordable, compassionate home where they can stay together and receive the care they need while thriving amidst a community.

As renovations at Welsh Mountain Home continue, adding additional bathrooms for the resident’s privacy and dignity, residents still need your support to keep Welsh Mountain Home affordable.
